Dear Parents,
I want to thank all of you for the remembering my birthday
in such a special way! The children greeted me in the morning with a
spontaneous Happy Birthday song, which was so dear to me. Later in the morning,
I was greeted with a lovely birthday card, a lavender scented warming shawl and
a gift certificate to Macy’s. We also shared wonderful Rice Krispy Bars as
well. May God bless you for all your kind ways!
The past couple of weeks we have focused our attention on
the preparation of a new play, which will be presented on stage for the whole
student body and interested parents and friends. The play is about the story of
Our Lady of Guadalupe. The children memorized their lines and are anxious to
put the show on the road!
It will be presented on December 5, at 1:30.
In math class we are covering geometric shapes with new
vocabulary.
Memorization of math facts is coming along just fine. We are
also reviewing telling time and measurement with inches.
I hope you all have a lovely Thanksgiving holiday. The
children memorized a verse from the Bible. Perhaps they could recite it for
your prayer on Thanksgiving Day.
Brothers and sisters:
Always be joyful and never stop praying.
Whatever happens, keep thanking God because of Jesus Christ.
This is what God wants you to do.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
I am sending home some fantastic turkeys that the children
made with finger paints. Enjoy!
Mrs. Barth
