Second Grade Puppet Show

Dear Parents,

The children recently completed the presentation of a Halloween puppet show. Each child picked a character they wanted to create as a puppet. The children centered their characters around a farm theme. The making of the puppets was a three part process. Once the puppets were assembled,
the children brainstormed ideas for a story that would include all the different puppets. They decided on a setting and personalities for each character along with a problem that would tie the story together. Once the script was composed, the children edited the script. Next, copies were printed
and practice began as a Readers theater script. Different grade levels along with parents and grandparents were invited to attend the show entitled, The Boring Halloween.
